The Studio Visit: A Glimpse into the Studios of America’s Creative Capital
Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a place where history, culture, and art come together. It has more artists per capita than any other city in the U.S. With over 250 galleries and 20 museums, it's the third-biggest art market in the United States, after New York and San Francisco. UNESCO even named it the first Creative City in the U.S., which highlights the significant role art plays in the city.
Many people are familiar with famous artists like Georgia O’Keeffe, but the city also boasts a wealth of modern and highly respected artists. These artists turn their studios into places of imagination and skill. This project is all about these special places and the artists who work in them. Santa Fe is not only a destination where people go to see art – it’s a community where art is a way of life.
